This piece is made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.
This stone, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.
Each piece is unique.
This pendant is a cool piece of driftwood with stack of 16 rocks of varying shades and sizes woven through. A cairn sculpture to take with you!
It is on a sterling silver rolo chain without a clasp, as it is long enough to go over the head.
This sale is for this item pictured. I do make this style often, but each one is different and a different size.
I have several of this style available, and I’m working on getting them up here, but if you want to see other options, please convo me.
The chain measures approx 32 inches and the pendant is about 5 inches long.
The chain length could be changed if need be.
*This piece of driftwood has some thin parts. Most of the time, when they break, it happens when hugging. So do not smash it in between two bodies.
Please feel free to convo me if you have any questions.
