This piece is made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.
These stones, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them in half but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.
Each piece is unique.
This necklace, the main rock is dark grey and smooth. It has anoth rock inside that and another rock in the middle pinned inside. The rocks do spin. It is on a sterling silver rolo chain with a lobster clasp.
This sale is for this item pictured. I do make this style often, but each one is different and a different size.
This is a piece we don’t make very many of, as it is a pain in the you know what.
The chain measures approx 18 inches and the pendant is about 1 1/2 inches long.
The chain length could be changed if need be.
